My first job was working in the Manned Vehicle Lab of the Center for Space Research at MIT. I witnessed three elephant rampages. The elephants went nuts and tore out of the circus tent three times. So my first job, I worked at McDonald’s, which was totally relevant to why I’m at this conference. So my first job was actually stocking comic books every Wednesday at a local comic shop. My first job was working in the school library. I did lose my job at McDonald’s. So I’m not sure how I’m keeping my job now as a designer. My first job was– I don’t even know the title. It was at Burger King. I was hired, along with about 75 other teenagers, to help open up a new movie theater. 15 years old, and my ex-boyfriend was my partner in learning the ropes, in terms of how to fry French fries. It was the best day of my life. I programmed the school report card system and the school class scheduling system. And I never tweaked my grades on the report card, but I did manage to find myself in three years of medical excuse, instead of having to take phys ed.
