ePacket AliExpress and Shopify: Dropshipping Deliveries Explained

ePacket AliExpress and Shopify: Dropshipping Deliveries Explained

[What is ePacket] Alright, so if you’ve been thinking about
dropshipping from China, ePacket delivery has no doubt crossed your radar. And while it may sound like something that’s
really complex or intimidating, it’s actually pretty straightforward. Hey, what’s up world it’s Tommy Walker
with Oberlo, and today, we’re going to talk all about ePacket delivery, how it all works,
and how it will help you to ship products more products more profitably from China If you have any questions, or want to share
your experiences, drop them in the comments below, and I’ll be sure to get back to you ePacket is an agreement that the Chinese and
Hong Kong governments have with the US postal service and a ton of other countries including Canada and Australia to ship light ecommerce packages from China, relatively
cheaply and within 7-20 days and often much quicker. ePacket provides merchants and customers end
to end tracking to monitor and locate their package on official websites such as EMS.com
and the United States Postal Service website For dropshippers, ePacket has been massive
and essential to the long-term success of their business. For years, dropshippers were plagued for with
long, unreliable, and expensive shipping times and little visibility into the fulfillment
process. As you can imagine, that was a nightmare for
customer service, and establishing long-term trust between buyers and dropshipping companies. ePacket has totally revolutionized shipping
small packets from China to Europe, Australia & North America. The length, height, and thickness of the package
shouldn’t exceed 36″ (90cm). And the weight shouldn’t exceed 4 and a
half pounds, and the price can’t have a value higher than $400 USD. Lastly, the package must be shipped from China or Hong Kong to eligible countries, which
you can find an up-to-date list in the description below! If you want to track your packages using Oberlo, click on “my orders” and you’ll see
the tracking code directly next to your fulfilled orders. The majority of the products in the Oberlo
Marketplace are eligible for ePacket delivery, making it easy to select qualified products If, however, you’re not using Oberlo, you
can easily track your orders on services like 17track.net. Customers may have to pay taxes and customs
fees for their products, and it’s different for every product, so it’s a good practice
to make that known on an F.A.Q page, and throughout the buying process so it’s not a complete
surprise for your customer. And that’s it! See, I told you it was pretty simple. And what about you? If you’re already dropshipping, how has
ePacket impacted your business? Hit that subscribe button and ring that bell

I tried it to send to Mexico because i wanted to improve my customers' experience. Packages arrived in 40-60 dias…so exactly the same than with China Post Registered Air Mail but with almost no tracking information and higher cost.

I ordered an item for one of my customers, and I had it sent via ePacket in Canada. It took a long time for him to receive his item. It was ordered on Dec. 2 and he got it Jan. 19. He lives in Canada. I understand the time it takes to ship over the holidays, but for some reason it was stuck in the "Sorting Center" for over a month. The supplier did not want to honor the Buyer's Protection Policy at AliExpress. Why would it be stuck at a Sorting Center anyways? Where is the Sorting Center (in China)? It took forever for them to move it from there. Please let me know what you think had happened. Just curious, since I don't want that to happen again.

Isn't in weird for customers that think the shop is in USA or Europe … is there a way to add a card, coupon code with our website to the package? Thank you

Just want to make sure, does that mean that when we pay for delivery with ePacket, we cover the charge at the border? I want to avoid my customers to have pay an extra cost for their delivery when they receive it. Thanks

Hi! Iv noticed you are very good at getting back to the commenters on your videos so I thought I’d ask a question. How does building an email list boost sales? Do I find a way to charge them monthly when iv built a brand and have a decent following, like a subscription service? Or does it just mean that through a automated email software such as Market Hero, customers are drawn back to the store after leaving a cart, and thus increasing sales? Thanks in advance!

Any possibilities of epackets getting faster shipping in the future? Seems like it takes FOREVER and I'm not quit sure what to say to my customers on my site so that they understand this process better. Is there any "mock" information that we can put up on our sites? Just something so I can get an idea of what others are saying?

Thanks for the explaination. I know how to set the settings when I want to provide free shipping to customers with ePacket. But how can I provide the correct price including the fee for e.g. an customer in the USA or Canada? For a customer in the USA a shipping tarif with ePacket could be free on Aliexpress but for a Customer in Canada they can charge for the same product a fee? So how can I include this different price for e.g Canadians or Europe? Or only selecting products on Aliexpress that don't charge worldwide?

For French people, it take only 10 days with the Aliexpress Standard shipping, from China.
I am really curious to know if it is really necessary to sacrifice this delivery option for a brand new supplier with ePacket delivery knowing that my single product shop only sells in France.

epacket is definitely taking a lot longer now to deliver to the US, before it was an average of 12-20 days, now its between 30-40+ days. Not sure it is a viable way to send packages anymore to the US if its going to take over a month to get there…

I don't get why when I choose epacket before I import a product from Oberlo it gives me the price from both the product & epacket together. However, when I see the cost of what i'll be paying for that product on 'My products' on the Oberlo app, it doesn't include the price of epacket. It just shows the price of what i'll be paying as just the product itself.

I'm confused & so my question is, does it include the price of both the product & the epacket altogether?Regardless if it only shows the price for the product itself & not the shipping method or am I missing something?

I can't find the epacket option anymore on AliExpress so I can't search for products which are available for epacking transport. Is it just me?
